How we're funded, in plain terms
No jargon and no hidden bits: here's exactly how Play Ledger Room makes money and what that does — and doesn't — mean for what you read.
Play Ledger Roomis free to use because it's funded by affiliate commission. Some of the links to operators on this site are tracked, and if you follow one and later open an account, the operator may pay us a referral fee.
What that means for you
Nothing changes on your side. You pay no more, your bonus is no different, and the odds are exactly what they'd be if you went to the operator directly. The commission comes out of the operator's marketing budget, not your pocket.
What it doesn't buy
It doesn't buy a better verdict or a higher place in the list. Our rankings and the one-word verdicts follow the eight criteria we apply to every operator — licence, game range, live casino, mobile, studios, how the welcome offer is built, support and usability. A brand paying more commission doesn't move up, and we'll happily mark down an operator whose offer looks better in advertising than it is in the terms.
How to spot the tracked links
The "Visit" buttons on operator listings are affiliate links. They're tagged with rel="sponsored nofollow"so it's clear to you and to search engines that they're commercial. Internal links — to our own pages like the live casino guide or questions page — are never paid.
A note on the offers we show
Where we mention a welcome offer, it's a factual description of the type, not a sales pitch. We don't use words like "biggest" or "guaranteed", and we don't invent precise figures — promotions change, so the live terms on the operator's own site are always the ones that count. Read more on how we approach this in our about page.
